I got to know Volker very well when Micheal attended CSPS. He was a great father and a kind and generous man. My sympathy to you and your family at this sad time.

I had the pleasure of being Volker's roommate in K hospital. He was truly a great man and was there for me when I wasn't able to be there for myself. I'm only now finding out about his passing, but I take comfort in knowing he's in a better place. I love you, buddy. Thanks for everything. I hope I get to see you again one day
