Krista Bowley, Funeral Director
With seven years of licensure and compassionate service, Krista has built a reputation as a trusted funeral director who guides families through both pre-need planning and at-need arrangements with empathy and care. Her commitment to honoring lives and supporting loved ones during difficult times is matched by her deep respect for the community she serves.
Outside of her professional role, Krista finds joy in the company of animals and the serenity of the outdoors. Whether hiking wooded trails, spending time with her pets, or simply enjoying nature’s quiet moments, she embraces life with the same grace and attentiveness she brings to her work.
Justin Leroux, General Manager
Justin was born in Val Caron, Ontario, and has lived and served communities across North Bay, Toronto, Midland, and Penetanguishene. He has been licensed for several years and has built a diverse and distinguished career in both funeral service and information technology.
Justin began his professional journey after a period of preparation for seminary, followed by formal studies at Humber College. He started his funeral service career with Bernardo Funeral Homes in Toronto, where he served families from many cultural backgrounds. During this time, he earned recognition within Hindu, Assyrian, and Orthodox Christian communities for his knowledge, cultural sensitivity, and deep respect for their traditions and customs.
He later joined Arbor Memorial, serving families in Midland and Penetanguishene, where he became known for delivering highly personalized and community-focused services. During this period, Justin achieved his Certified Funeral Services Practitioner (CFSP) designation and also completed his Red Hat Linux System Engineering certification reflecting his parallel dedication to both compassionate care and technical excellence.
Throughout his career, Justin has worked at the intersection of funeral service and information technology, designing systems and processes that help families remain connected and supported during times of grief. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, he served in a cybersecurity role with an international organization, further strengthening his expertise in secure systems, operational leadership, and digital infrastructure.
Justin previously served as Director of Operations and now returns in the role of General Manager, bringing with him a unique blend of pastoral sensitivity, operational leadership, and technological insight.
He is especially proud of his work with the Knights of Columbus as a Third-Degree Knight, as well as his involvement in personal ministry and community initiatives. Justin was a founding member of the North Simcoe Compassionate Care Community and worked closely with Algonquin College’s nursing program to help educate future nurses on end-of-life care and the importance of compassionate presence. He is also a member of the British Institute of Embalming, the Ontario Coroner’s Association, and the International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners.
Justin is happily married to his wife, Vanessa, and is the proud “fur dad” of Theo. Outside of the office, he enjoys fishing, camping, spending time with family, gaming, and actively supporting the many community organizations he serves.
