I was shocked to see that my cousin Seija passed away. Her mom and my mom were close many years ago. I have a cassette tape of the two of them talking over coffee. They were talking about what it was like when you die. I dont speak finnish but it was something lile....mena nooku..which i think translates to like going to sleep. ..Seija and I walked to KLCVI together many mornings. My sincere condolences to all of Seija's family. Linda Huhtala McGugan

Mr. K, Gina & Lisa I don’t think I have a childhood memory that doesn’t somehow include Mrs. K and your family. Your home was the hub of it all—from family meals, Finnish coffee bread and Finnish pancakes, to summers at the cottage and weekly saunas. She made all the prom and special occasion dresses. Was everyone’s personal hair dresser. Mrs K always had such a sense of style & latest trends. She had the gift of conversation making everyone feel included while also being the best listener. She was kind to everyone living out her faith in Jesus. And in the great words of Clint “that Finland smile, the conversations because she loved to talk, the kindness and overall presence that when she was in the room you become happier for it”. My Mum will deeply miss her best friend. The Pitt family is grateful for the blessing of Mrs K in our lives & the love of friends who are like family. Please know you are all in our prayers and we are here for whatever you need. Love the Pitts ❤️
