In Loving Memory of Samantha Denise LeClerc
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Samantha Denise LeClerc on July 13, 2026, at the age of 35 due to natural causes.
Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, raised in both Kirkland Lake and Nashville, Tennessee, Samantha will be remembered for her unique spirit, kind heart, and the love she had for those closest to her. She embraced life in her own way, finding joy in the things she loved most—immersing herself in fiction novels, binge-watching her favorite shows (especially Game of Thrones), playing video games (Golden Eye 007, COD, Mario Party, Minecraft and Roblox to name a few), listening to music (From First to Last, Escape the Fate (dying is your latest fashion album), Linkin Park and Bring Me the Horizon) and celebrating her favorite season, Halloween. Her love of horror films, the color black, and all things spooky reflected her vibrant personality and individuality.
Samantha also expressed herself through her tattoos, each one representing a piece of her journey and the things she loved. She wore them with pride as a reflection of her creativity, strength, and unapologetically authentic spirit.
She especially cherished the time she spent with her family "down south." The memories she made with her beloved Aunt Deb and Uncle Pete, and her cousins Jenna (Brett), Donovan (Emily), Charlotte, and Spencer were incredibly special to her. The love, laughter, and close bond they shared remained a treasured part of her life.
Above all else, Samantha's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment were her two beloved daughters, Jade LeClerc-Welch and Iris LeClerc. She absolutely adored her girls and was endlessly proud of them—whether it was cheering them on at sports, celebrating their achievements at school, or just watching them grow into their own unique selves. She always bragged about them and made sure everyone knew how amazing they were. One of her favorite things was simply watching Jade interact with Iris. Her girls were the center of her world and the greatest gifts of her life.
Samantha was predeceased by her father, Bruce Davis; her stepmother, Lorrie; her stepsisters, Bobbie-Anne and Tammy; and her grandparents, Fern and Pauline LeClerc, and Cecil and Sylvia Davis.
She leaves behind her loving mother, Diane LeClerc; her aunt, Denise LeClerc (Ian), sister, Sheena Kamieniecki (Kenneth); her brothers, Matthew Crouse (Sabrina) and Tyler Davis; her cherished nephews, Caden and Cohen; her niece, Kamryn; her great-niece, Brynn; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members (in Tennessee and Kirkland Lake), and dear friends whose lives were touched by her love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit.
Though Samantha's time with us was far too short, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date.

Samantha n me were really close for about 2 years! She helped me get through tough times n things I didn’t want to except but because of her I felt I could continue! I loved getting pics of Iris every day n just out convos when we had a chance to talk! Because of my health issues I wasn’t able to be there as much as I should have n with that I am disappointed in myself as we were so close ! I miss her n our convos ! I miss checking in and hearing how she hated that I loved birds lol! She got me , n that’s not easy lol ! I miss her every day! I wish I was able to do more , I wish I could have said more , known more, all of it! I’m so upset at myself again for losing someone I care about n not helping as much as I should have ! I know she’s here , I’ve seen it! She’s always gonna be around cause she is far from forgotten! She was a big deal to everyone !
