I am so very sorry for your loss. Nora (or "Auntie Nora") as I knew her, will always hold a special place in my heart. She was truly an incredible person - kind, generous and welcoming to all. Growing up, I would look forward to birthday cards from Auntie Nora and Auntie Ann. She never missed a birthday, a true feat given the number of loved ones in her life. I have many fond memories of going to visit Auntie Nora in New Liskeard. On one memorable occasion, she made batches of donuts with Jimmy in a huge pot of oil. Another time, as a teenager, I went to learn how to make her Christmas cookies; she was so adept at it that I had to stop her often to write down what she was doing, but she was always patient with me. Despite my best efforts, the ones I make aren't quite the same, though I attempt it each year for Christmas. The obituary was a lovely tribute, honouring a life well lived. Know that she is loved, and will be missed, by many.
