I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Murt in her younger days, however her kind heart and sense of humour remained very apparent in her later years for sure . Not uncommon to be the recipient of a warm wack in the bottom followed by a big grin as wheeled away laughing. You will be missed by many in our little corner of the world. We lost another great woman but her legacy will always live on and will always be remembered as a true warrior! Loved watching her place ball growing up , visiting KL is one of my fav memories growing up and getting to be with my dads side of the family for the Summer !!! Still have the best memories there and will never forget Love and miss you auntie You will always be on my mind and in my heart ️

I am so sad to have seen this obit for Murt. Oh the memories of Swas back in the day, broomball, baseball, etc. I loved hanging out at Mrs. Fraser's house where I often played with Marjorie and grew up knowing the family. How I have dreaded hearing this news! Murt was such an enduring presence in the lives of so many of us, especially (in my eyes anyway), those of us from Swas.
