Mary Bastien (Quinton), 65, of Temiskaming Shores, Ontario, passed away on the 4th day of November in the year 2022.
Visitation will be held at Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative, Perrin Chapel, on Friday November 11 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Our Mother of Perpetual Help on Saturday November 12 at 10am with Monsignor Patrick Lafleur, c.s.s officiating. Luncheon to follow in the parish hall. Burial will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, off Dawson Point Rd.
Mary was born in New Liskeard Ontario to Ervin and Ruby Quinton on September 17, 1957. She spent her time being surrounded by family and friends dedicating her life to being there for all. Over the years Mary loved to camp with her loving husband Dan and anyone else friends or family that wished to join. Unfortunately circumstances confined Mary to her home mostly in recent years so her love of calling loved ones on the phone grew. Many of hours were spent connecting with all.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband Dan, daughter Melissa (Jacques), her beloved grandson Dawson and precious great grandson Charles Jeffrey. Sisters Eve Rae, Ruth Cooke and Ina (John) Laronde all whom reside in Temiskaming Shores. Also, many nieces, nephews and their families. She will be missed by her fellow Leaf fan Don who watched many games with her and Dan. She was loved and supported always by her surrogate family Paulette and Dallas Rostad. Predeceased by her parents Ervin and Ruby Quinton and her very loved and missed grandson Jeffrey.
