My sympathies for your loss, Joanne, Michel and Louise! ️ I am missing your wonderful mother. I came to love her very much. I know as a health care person, I’m not supposed to get attached, but I couldn’t help it. In spite of her confusion, she was a pleasure to spend time with. I will always remember singing with her and how she remembered all the verses to a song. And how she would stop and talk to others in the hallway. And her beautiful smile and hugs! Everybody loved her! And, if she can have Dutch Raisin pie in Heaven, well, she’s having the best tasting Dutch Raisin pie ever! I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. She was an amazing woman and always had a special place in my heart. I have such wonderful memories of her on my many years to the North. Joanne - I just learned of your mother’s death and would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. What a model of resiliency in the face of early misfortune.
