It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lillian Irene Richard on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022 at Health Science North in Sudbury at the age of 68.
Lillian passed away with her loving sister Diane by her side. She was predeceased by her parents
Georgette and Rene Richard, her brothers George and Leo Richard and her sister Rita Richard.
She leaves behind her brother Yvon Richard (Jocelyne) of London, her sister Rosanne Duguay of Timmins and her sister Diane Rae of Powassan, her sister-in-law Sharon Richard (Leo) of Kirkland Lake and sister-in-law Sharon Richard (George) of Kingston.
Cherished Aunt of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Lillian worked for 37 years at The Timiskaming Health Unit in the payroll/payables department until her retirement in September of 2009.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative, French Family Lounge (111 Burnside Drive, Kirkland Lake, ON) on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm and is open to family and friends.

I was saddened to hear of Lillian's passing. I worked with Lillian for many years at Timiskaming Health Unit. She was a friendly and dedicated colleague who ensured we were paid on time, which made her one of our favourites! She always had time for a chat and a story when I would visit the Kirkland Lake office. I will miss running into her in the community. My condolences to family, friends and colleagues.
