Hey Hughie,I sure am gonna miss seeing you on my afternoon walks. You always made me laugh. You left way too soon,who am I gonna give my extra cards to now? But I’m still glad my Cowboys took it to your Bills,that’s the way it goes. As long as the Yankees play,you’ll always have the best seat in the house. If you think of it,say hi to The Babe,The Iron Horse,Joltin’ Joe,The Mick and Thurman for me. My condolences to the entire Cale family at this very difficult time.God Speed Hughie,Rest In Peace.

I was shocked to see the passing of Hughie. Many great memories of Hugh growing up in Chaput. Whenever we crossed paths there were lots of laughs as we reminisced about the old days. Sending you love and strength in these hard times.

I can still hear his laugh and see him traipsing around with his blond hair or wearing his baseball cap. He was the first out to do ANY sport and encouraged everyone to play. I’m so sorry he has passed away.
