It is with great sorrow, announcing the passing of Gary on January 9,2026 in the comfort of his home at Extendicare in Kirkland Lake, ON. Gary is predeceased by his beloved mother Mable Carisse (Nee O'bumsawin) and Father Joseph Carisse. His cherished daughter Sharon Carisse.
 
Brother's Wayne Carisse and Joseph (Joe-Joe) Carisse and sister Sheila Carisse. Gary was a loving father to Shannon and loving grandfather to Greyszen Beszedes, Marcel and Reiley Dupont. Gary will be sadly missed and forever cherished by his sister Cyd Deline, Dawn Carisse and brother's Richard "Duke" Carisse and Brian O' bumsawin (Claudette, sister in law's, Jo-Anne Laroque, Gay Gibson and many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by the Carisse family as well as his Extendicare family. Gary's friendship is cherished by his close friends Rejean St.George and Merle Ziolkowski, Mary Jane Crawford, Dave Pullen, Pat Skalecki, Phil Cannon.
 
Whom throughout the years have stood side by side for each other through the good times and bad, as well as many of the staff and residences at Extendicare, Whom he considered his family!
 
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on January 31,2026 @ 2:00 pm at Extendicare located at 155 Government Rd E in Kirkland Lake, in which family and friends are welcome.

Donations in Gary's memory can be made to Extendicare, Kirkland Lake.

To Shannon and family im so very sorry for your loss. For the past 18 years Gary was a part our Extendicare family.
