I am so sorry for your loss. Don was such an amazing person! He always had a smile on his face, no matter what he was going through. He would always say “you have to laugh about it!” I always enjoyed my time with you both and will forever cherish the time we got to spend together. He always brightened my day! Jeanine,We started as friends and now we are Family. I was filled with profound sadness when I heard the news of Don. I had held out hope of another visit to my home so you guys could ride all over Southern Ontario on your Harleys. But mostly, I was holding out hope for Don seeing his new Grandchild on the way. I owe you and Don so much. Firstly, the boys that you two raised, who became amazing men. The wonderful man who became my son in law, thank you. To watching Zack be an outstanding husband to Mya and father my grandson Harrison, I thank you and Don. There is so much that I will miss about Don. His quiet calm way of talking. How funny he is. The immense amount of pride in his family. Watching him get totally wrapped about Molly's little paw. But I will mostly miss looking at Don watching Jeanine. The amount of love in his eyes.... I just read this lovely obituary. I remember the young Donald showing up at the Batisse home way back in the 80's. Truly a wonderful man, and an amazing love story. ️
