RIP Bucky, first met when he played hockey in the KL Industrial league and I was the penalty box official, he was a frequent visitor! Always a gentleman with a great sense of humour. We will miss your visits and our chats at the KLGC!

Sad to hear of Bucky's passing. I grew up next door and always enjoyed Bucky's stories. When I was a child, Bucky always had the best jokes. As I grew older, the jokes become more mature as well. After leaving home and moving away, any time I returned, Bucky would have a new set of stories and jokes waiting to be shared with me. He always seemed so jovial. RIP Bucky, may your sense of humour take you far in the afterlife. To Kirk and family, please accept my sincerest condolences.

I’ve known Bucky my whole life. We grew up on Second St. and I worked with him at Mine Assay/Acklands where he kept us laughing. I loved our visits over the years and no matter how he was feeling, a quick joke was always near. He’s been on my mind lately because I haven’t seen him. Reading the passing off Bucky was very sad to me. We worked together NCS 61 years ago. He was just one fine person who loved everyone.

So sorry for the news on my friend. He and I had good times golfing these recent years.He kept in touch in the last few months with his humorous phone calls. Rest in peace Buck. The pains are gone. Doug and Claire B.

I have fond memories of Bucky on the golf course; he always had joke and was such a friendly character. We certainly lost a good one. You’ll be missed Bucky.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bucky for many years through hockey, golf and many other events. He was a great guy to be around with a good sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Condolences to all the Family.

Bucky. He was the first sales rep I met in 1984 at Agnico Eagle in Cobalt. He was larger than life in his infectious, kind, world class personality. His passing is a loss for many. Truly a nice man and will be sorely missed by all he knew. Condolences to the family.

I am writing on behalf of Georgette Poulin. My heart is heavy after hearing about your passing Bucky! Not only was Karen one of my besties, but you were the person for whom you wanted to chat with, golf with, have dinner with or just a coffee. You always made me feel hopeful of my game while playing golf together. You were always positive no matter what the situation. That smile of yours was beautiful! Once we meet again on the other side, we can all do a round of 18 together. RIP Bucky!

Salt of the earth. Played a lot of industrial ball with Bucky....and I remember golfing in the Labour Day tournament. He would always followed me around....maybe that's why I never played well...but always enjoyed his company. Fond memories...will miss him dearly. Gordie Biggs (Mr. Biggstuff)

Sorry to hear of Bucky's passing. I worked with Bucky on Motor Management as Materials Manager at Kidd Creek for years. Bucky was a real gentleman and always a pleasure to work in. We had great laughs doing our job. You will be missed my friend.
