I was saddened to read this today. I have such fond memories of the “ property” when I first started coming up to Terrys parents place. Terry so admired Blaine’s ability to always know how to fix things ,,,, sometimes in most unconventional ways. Sometimes when he was struggling with something in his garage he’d say, “ I need Blaine Gillett here” . Rest in Peace Blaine. I wonder what they are fixing now? Thoughts and prayers for you Heather and all the family.

Blain was always there for us. He helped my Mom and myself so much , with the house and with the cleaning of the driveway in winter, etc. I remember when I was much younger , in the third week of December, he would come over and we would go out and get a Christmas Tree . It was my job to install and to decorate. That is such a precious memory. Thank you Blain. All my blessings to Heather , Robert , Heather kay and Scottling who took such good care of him until the end.The pain of grief is the proof of love. May all your storms be weathered. My heartfelt sympathy to you Heather, and all Blain's loved ones. My favorite memory of Blain is seeing him and his coffee-buddies at west end Timmy's, sitting at the corner table laughing and guffawing over their latest gossip. Every early morning I'd stop in, Blain would call out to me with a witty comment or joke and they'd all jump in. I left Timmy's with a huge grin. He was fun. Ellen
