Those who could count Walentyna/Valya as a friend knew that fortune smiled on them. Her loyalty, authenticity, and devotion were prized. Valya's sense of fun uplifted one and all. She loved fiercely, as her next of kin know better than anyone. Valya was a treasured lifelong friend to my father, Oleksii, and through him, a dear friend to our family.
