I am so sorry to hear of Vic’s passing …we worked together at the Macassa Mine in the late eighties and early nineties …although we were on opposite sides….labour and management …we always had the upmost appreciation and respect for what each of us brought to the table..Vic always had the knack for bring out the humours element whatever the situation was….Vic always took the time to say hello whenever our paths would cross……Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences during this difficult time and hopefully the wonderful memories that you cherish will somewhat help ease the pain…..RIP VICTOR

Please accept my condolences on Vic's passing. I played football in high school with Vic. He was a fierce competitor and highly skilled. He was the leader on the last team we had at KLCVI which ended up undefeated league champions. Off the field he was intelligent, kind and modest. A good man who loved his family above all else. I always enjoyed meeting up with him and catching up on how things were going in his life. He will be missed by all those who had the good fortune to be counted as a friend. Rest in peace my captain, your journey, cut much too short, is over.
Deepest condolences to you and your family Joann.

I was so saddened to hear of Vic's passing and offer my deepest condolences to you and your family. I think of Victor often, and his memories cheer me up. Victor brought humor, confidence and teamwork to the workplace. All you had to do was ask and Victor would be there to help. He was a brave and courageous leader and friend. An incredible man, husband, father and friend, Vic was all that and more. Deeply missed and never forgotten. Rest in peace Vic.
May my support warm your heart
I want to offer my condolences to you and your sons. I was saddened to hear of Vic’s passing. Although I didn’t know him well, I remember his dry sense of humour. This also brought back memories of my time working with you for Primerica. We had a lot of meetings at your house and Vic was always so kind and tolerant of the noise and laughter. My wife Sara and I are keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My heart goes out to you and your family.

So sorry to hear of Vic’s passing. Spent many years training with him for Ski Patrol. Gone too soon.
Very saddened to read of Victor's passing. I remember him as a kind, humble soul. He will continue to be in our school day stories when we talk about great athletes. From wrestling to linebacker on our football teams, Victor was one of the best. My sincere condolences to Victor's Family. Rest in Peace gentle giant!
Please accept our sympathies on losing Vic, a shock as he was always so strong and healthy. Knew Vic from our days at Macassa Mine when we sat across from each other at the union-management negotiating table. When we met in the mine or on the street, we would talk and joke around. Vic had a great sense of humour and was a good man. Also knew and respected his father Paul, a blacksmith at Macassa who gave me a hunting knife he made himself on the forge, a knife I still have and cherish.
