Awe, so sad that this great lady has passed. Val was always pleasant to us kids growing up in Dobie. She was like the town mayor in a good way. Often it felt people would say “ well ask Val she might know”. Rip Mrs Hudson.

What an beautiful set of words, for a beautiful person. I have so many fond childhood memories of playing in the screen porch and emmaculate flower garden of Dobie house. Building tunnels in the giant snow piles on the corner. Grandma used to let us play a tune on her player piano, her face would light up when we got excited. More recently Grandma was so proud when I'd told her I finally got a job that came with a pension. She was a very practical woman. She is sadly missed and remembered forever. Rest in eternal peace Grandma Hudson ️

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember your mom and dad well. You were lucky to have her as a parent. Upon reading her lovely obituary, I wished I could of sat and listened to her life stories. She had a full, wonderful life. Thinking of you.
