Our deepest and profound condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with at this difficult time. Johnny was a special soul. He loved people, he brought them a helping hand, joy, laughter, humor. A good story teller, shared his knowledge, experiences and adventures. He had the best contagious laugh ever. A beautiful smile hiding his fears, uncertainty, pain and suffering. Buddy you are at peace now, even though you will be dearly missed, you will live on in our memories and in our hearts forever. Your work is now done on earth. God called upon you because he needed a special Angel. Now sweet Angel be free but please look down on us and protect the ones you love and all that love you. Johnny my dear nephew, until we're reunited. Love always, Auntie Andrée and family xoxo

I just wanted to extend my condolences to the whole Batisse family. I remember John on his first day of school at Matachewan Public school, he and Jeanine seemed really shy, but were soon right at home, the life of the party. He was a funny and happy guy. He will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers go out to all his family.

- Kevin Taman, on November 12, 2023

My heart breaks at the news of John’s passing. I knew him as “Johnny”, and remember him from fishing trips spent with my parents and brother in Matachewan. I will always cherish my memories of Johnny and consider it a great privilege to have known him. Though our hearts sorely ache at his sudden passing, he will live forever because we will remember him, always. Gone too soon, RIP Johnny. Watch over us, brother, from the Spirit World.
