Dorothy Elizabeth Milne died Thursday, January 12, 2012 in her home in Englehart, Ontario. Born in Toronto, Ontario in 1928 to Fred and Dorothy Bruce, she received her education there. She married Daniel Kynlock Milne with whom she owned and operated Gold Coast Coffee Roasters in Southport, Queensland, Australia. She moved to Englehart from Australia in 1996. Mrs. Milne is survived by her children Lilly Knowles (Steve), Lynda Lil Bourne, Shawn Sky, Kevin Fitzgerald (Judy), Dorothy Bannon (Bill), Kelly Willie (Mike), Kim Woodword (Dennis), MaryAnne Pecsenye (Ralf); her grandchildren—Chris and Dustin Knowles, Kip and Darcy Davidson, Eric and Riley Bannon, Christine and Michelle Woodword; her great grandchildren Skyler, Victoria, Deja, Oakley, Sadie, Josia Knowles (Chris), Trinity Davidson, Taylor and Kale Knowles. Mrs. Milne was predeceased by her husband Danny Milne. The funeral arrangements are by McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart. A family memorial is to be held at a later date. Cremation has occurred. In memory contributions may be made to the Englehart Food Bank, 4 Paws Rescue, and the Pavilion Family Resource Centre.
