It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Conrad Vachon on July 4, 2026, at TPR in Kirkland Lake, at the age of 84.
Conrad was predeceased by his parents, Loretta and Adelard Vachon.
He leaves behind his loving siblings: Corinne (Harvey), Irene (Charlie), Shirley (Lloyd), Beatrice (Frank), and Rick (Tammy).
Conrad was the proud father of seven sons: Greg, Darrel, Steve, Jason, Rocky, Jonathon, and Mathew. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Born in Powassan, Conrad later lived in Hamilton before making Larder Lake his home for more than 40 years. He will be remembered by those who knew him for the life he built and the memories he shared with family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at TPR in Kirkland Lake for the care and compassion shown to Conrad during his time there.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Larder Lake Legion. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend, share memories, and celebrate Conrad’s life.
