In memory of

Carol Turcotte

1951 - 2026

It is with great love, admiration, and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nanny, great Nanny and Friend, who took her last breath in the early evening of May 29th, 2026

In her life, she was known for her love of the 5 “F” words, Family, Friends, Flowers, Food and Fun.
Her time with family and friends was always cherished.  Making lasting memories were the utmost important.
Her love of colorful flowers were always present somewhere around her, on clothes, in pictures, or just in a vase to look at and  enjoy the beautiful smell.

Over the years she had many family and friends sit at the supper table and enjoy a meal. Her famous meatballs were always a number one hit.

Her love of music, dancing, singing and get together as were always fun and exciting for her, something she always looked forward to.

She is pre deceased by her husband David. She is survived by daughters Tracey Renaud (Ken) of Kirkland Lake Laura-Ann Turcotte (Alan Miller) of Sudbury and son Justin Turcotte (Melissa) of Sault St.Marie.
Her grandsons Robert Kennedy of Sudbury and Joshua Turcotte (Jenna) of Azilda
Her Great grandchildren Nathan, Ellie, Jack, Hannah, Abby, and Easton.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday  June 13th at the Royal Canadian Legion in Kirkland Lake from 1-4 pm.  A short service will start at 1:15pm.

The family would like to thank her fellow brothers and sisters of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses who called, visited, text and emailed over the past months to send their encouragement and love.

A special thanks also to the Blanche River Health nurses and doctors who cared for her and made her feel comfortable and safe.

Tracey, Laura-Ann and family. I was so sad to hear of Carol’s death. I had so many fond memories of times at your place in Matachewan and KL on Earl street. Your mom always had the biggest smile whenever she saw you. She will be missed. My wife Sara and I are keeping off of you in our prayers.

- Kevin Taman, on June 4, 2026

Tracey, Laura, Justin I am truly sorry for your loss! Had lots of good laughs with Carol over the years. The last time I saw Carol at the store she was shopping at The Jewel Box with headphones and singing her heart out. RIP Carol

My prayers go out to all of Carol’s family. Carol had a great sense of humour and loved laughing. She could find humour at the worst of times in her life, because she didn’t want others to feel sorry for her. When she spoke of her family she always wanted the best for them and to come to love Jehovah as she did. Carol would not want any of us to cry, but to laugh at all her crazy antics from over the years. Keep all your happy memories of her near in your heart as I know I will. I await the day to see Carol in the new system, where there will be no more sickness or tears. May Jehovah give all her family strength in these trying times..

Dear Aunty Carol, You were the aunty I never had close by. All of my aunts lived in other provinces, but you were always there, always reaching out, always making me feel loved. You were absolutely hilarious, so much fun to be around, and one of the most caring people I've ever known. You loved helping others❤️ , and you truly lived for makeup, floral perfumes, and looking fabulous wherever you went. You helped me through some of the lowest moments of my life because you understood the struggles of growing up and always knew exactly what to say. I will never forget your Revlon maroon lip liner, your bright white smile, and the jokes that somehow always arrived exactly when I needed them most. Thank you for your kindness, your laughter, and your love. The memories you gave me will stay with mom, Anita ( Your Besty in crime ) and me forever. Love you , Aunty Carol. Jehovah loved you dearly, and I know we will see you again in Paradise. Until then, rest in peace sweet woman 💞🌷🕊️ -Always, Aleisha Bron

Mom I miss you so much my day is are lonely. My nights are even worse. I miss our early FaceTime in total. I actually looked back on my phone and we used to speak for 3 to 4 hours on FaceTime and the phone a day approximately. Now that’s gone and I have to find a new normal. It’s not coming as easy as ppl tell me it will. Or tell me to move on you will see her in the new system or in paradise on earth but the point is is that you’re not here I’m not talking to you anymore and things have been hard but I know you’re not in pain anymore no more suffering no more agony Love love love love you!
