It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a dear father, brother, uncle and a friend. Philip loved the outdoors hunting, fishing, music, being with friends and spending time at Beaverhouse. Philip was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Jessie. He is dearly missed and forever remembered by his daughters Jessica, Rebecca and Julia; his siblings Gloreya (spouse Dennis) Murray, Basil, Gord, Darcy (late Paula) Maurer; nieces and nephews Michael Maurer, Jimi Maurer, Terry Honey, Darcy Honey, Tiffany Maurer, Celeste Maurer, Dawn (Eric) Hamelin, Katlin Maurer, Dakota Maurer, Jordan Maurer and Jenna Maurer; as well as his best friend Edgy. Family will welcome friends at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, On., P2N 3L1) on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 3:00 until 4:30 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 4:30 p.m. from the Monette & French Funeral Home.
