HAMMOND, James “Jim” – It is with deep sadness that we announce Jim’s peaceful passing in the comfort of his home on February 21, 2017. Jim was predeceased by his wife Marion, his parents Nelson and Carmen (née Hewitt), his son Dean Lalonde, his sister Jean VanCurrick, his niece Mary Jane VanCurrick and his best friend Butch Waldron. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his son Doug Hammond, his grandchildren Justin Morrisette, Cody Hammond and 1 great grand-daughter.Jim will be dearly missed by his friends Glenn and Lorie Waldron, Mickey (Lorrie) Barrett and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.Aqua Cremation has taken place at FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME (111 Burnside Drive, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3L1).Condolences, donations, and ordering of flowers may be made on-line at www.frenchfamily.caOffer Condolence for the family of James “Jim” Hammond
