WIESSNER, Volker

It’s with broken hearts the family of Volker Wiessner announce his passing. Volker was the loving father to his son Micheal Wiessner, son to Peter and Johanna Wiessner, and brother to Sabina Nicholls. 

His brother-in-law, Paul Nicholls, nieces Kelsey (Justin Rivard), Gillian Mazzetti (Jake Mazzetti), and great-nieces, Emery and Indy, miss him and grieve his passing. 

Also left to mourn his passing are aunts, uncles and cousins from Germany. 

Volker was a kind, giving and hardworking father, brother, son, uncle and friend. He loved those closest to him unconditionally and always offered a helping hand. Volker will be remembered most for his courage and strength that radiated through his life, and his presence will never be forgotten. Your fight is over now. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Kurki for her perseverance and kindness during his illness.  A big thank you to the staff on fourth floor for their kind, gentle care and their support. 

A special thank you from the family to the nurses in the Dialysis unit.

You made his dialysis routine more bearable for him.  Volker really appreciated the support and care you provided.
