RIVARD, Jeannine
1932 - 2022
June 10, 1932 – August 28, 2022
In loving memory of Jeannine Rivard (née Benoit), who passed away at the Temiskaming Hospital on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the age of 90 with her loving family at her side.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Alberta Benoit. Jeannine was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Rosaire Rivard (2004), her daughter Louise Lajoie (2005), grandchildren Sylvain and Erika, great grandchild Tyson. Also predeceased by her siblings and in-laws Armand and Laurette Ethier, Fernande and Leo Plante, Marguerite and Raymond Rivard, Thérèse and Adolphe Gauthier, Sylvio and Cecile Rivard, Gerard and Jeannine Rivard, Lauretta and Raymond Forget.
Jeannine is survived by her children Paul (late Darlene Bolan), Richard (Solange Julien), Irene (Tom Uttley), Joanne (Allan Aitchison), Gilbert (Jane Tressider), Martin (Kerry Gaudon). Jeannine was also a loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren and great grandmother to 15 great grandchildren. Jeannine is survived by her siblings Cecile (late André Gauthier), Madelaine (late Philippe Menard), Pauline (late Henri Boucher), André (late Claire Labonté), Lise Gauvreau and brother-in-law Léo Denommé (late Gabrielle). Also survived by her in-laws Cecile (late Roger Rivard), Roméo and Rhea Rivard, Reina Rivard, Jeanne D'Arc Gauthier (late Albert).
The family will welcome friends at the Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative, Perrin Chapel on Friday September 2, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Hearth Parish.
The family wish to take this opportunity to thank her doctors, Drs. Morensy, Corbin and Lachapelle and the nursing staff at the Temiskaming Hospital, Doctors and staff at Health Sciences North, Cardiac Floor. A very special thank you to Northdale Manor and their staff, the PSW's and Homecare support staff for the past four years.

So very sorry to hear of your loss, my condolences to your family. I think I first met her when she worked in Arnold Peters campaign office when I was not even old enough to vote yet. I used to work with my Mom, she worked for Arnold's Campaign office for a few years. We have been missing her at the Bingo, wondering how she was managing. R.I.P. my freind.

J'ai des beaux souvenirs de "Mme Rivard". Sa famille et la notre ont demeurer sur la meme rue. Comme enfant, j'allait faire un tour chez mes voisins, les Rivards. Mme Rivard etait toujours occuper mais toujours recevante quand meme. Une fois, j'ai eut un accident chez elle et j'ai casser mon bras. Je me souviens encore quand elle m'a aider a me rendre chez moi. Je l'ai toujours beaucoup aimer. Mes sympathies a toute la famille.
