CONTANT, Raymond “Ray” – It is with deep sadness and a lifetime of fond memories, we announce Ray’s peaceful passing in the comfort of his home, on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, surrounded by those he loved. Ray was predeceased by his parents Althea (née Simms) and Arthur Contant.Forever remembered by his brothers and sisters, Diane (Al) Kenney, Sue (Greg) Zorbas, Gil (Michelle) Contant, Pat (Fran) Contant and Larry (Katherine) Contant. Ray was a proud uncle to Chris, Steve, Van, Jason, Peter, David, Jennifer, Lisa, Adam, Stacey- Anne, Samantha, Jessie, Matthew, Chris, Cindy, Tyler and Erin as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews especially Meghan.Ray was well known in Kirkland Lake and would greet people with a big hug and “I know you”! Many will remember Ray as a sports enthusiast and the #1 Maple Leaf fan. Ray’s doodle art and ceramics were noteworthy!  He was a proud participant of the Special Olympics.  Ray loved to dance and enjoyed listening to country music.  He will be missed for his friendliness and his precious smile.Disposition:

Raymond was a frequent visitor at MGI. We saw him daily when he would visit for his Diet Pepsi fix. Sometimes once, but usually twice a day. And if Darren happened to be there, Raymond always had a big hug ready for him. We will always remember his pleasant mannerisms, and his always gentle and sincere Thank Yous at every visit.
