Walter Ellison Wainman passed away peacefully at his home in Kirkland Lake on Sunday, July 1, 2007 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Cora. Loving Dad to Laurie (Mike), Kelly (Laverne), Tracy (Adrienne), Randy (Vicki), Kim (Andy) and Kathy (Walter). Sadly missed by his brother Duane. Proud Opa to 13 grandchildren – Jennifer, Kris, Stefanie, Shelley, Mark, Ashley, Dylan, Katie, Jacqui, Danielle, Adriana, Raven and Grace and to 2 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Walter Sr., by his brothers Eric and Garry and by his sister Beverley. Visitation will be held at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, July 4, 2007 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 11:30 am with the Rev. Edna Murdy officiating.
