Aunt Viv was a true gentle Lady .She always made me feel welcome when we visited her when I was young .Uncle Roy was the first one to take me fishing .My condolences to all the family Bill & Lucille Little (Ross’s son)
It is with great sadness that Vivienne’s family announces her peaceful passing at Extendicare Kirkland Lake on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the tender age of 91 years. Born in Pipestone Manitoba on December 30, 1920 to the late Joseph and late Mary (Scharf) Barre. Vivienne was predeceased by her parents and her step father Robert Little; also by her brothers Clifford, Ross, Billy, Morris; her sisters Mona, Iris, Elsie ,Josephine “Josey”, Mary and Verna. Vivienne will be dearly remembered by her beloved children Kenneth (Sadie) Nelson and Beverley (Robert) Cecol; her grandchildren Barry (Tina) Nelson, Danny (Evangeline) Nelson, David Wilson, Alanna (Bill) Vanderburg, Christopher (Helen) Cecol; her great grandchildren Jessica, Andrew, Kurtis, Sadie Nelson, Alicia, Madisson, Andrew and Joshua. Vivienne was fortunate to have a fifth generation added to her family, Vincent, Lily, Logan, Xavier, Mariah and Brandon. Also dearly missed by her sisters Ester David and Blanche Neilson; her brother Charlie (Irene) as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 28th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the funeral home (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, ON., P2N 3L1).
