Tammy had asked a few times how my parents liked their new home and other exciting moments. She expressed how happy she was to hear that my parents were doing well and wished them the best. She also expressed her sadness regarding my father. Tammy was a genuine caring girl – she will be missed in our community!!! Our thoughts are with her family at this very sad time.

Selfless, Thoughtful, Giving We were pregnant for our first child, a nephew-to-be for Tammy & Andy, cousin for Carlee & Jacob – we arrived from Vancouver to announce the wonderful news – Tammy knew in her heart what that announcement was going to be.. all the while herself pregnant for their third beautiful child, our niece, Emma… but she allowed us our moment of joy & excitement, so genuinely ecstatic for us – then to reveal shortly thereafter her own joy – how wonderful it was to know our children, Conor & Emma, would be born so close – in fact, I recall as they grew, some thought they were brother and sister – Tam, thinking back to this, that meant the world to us… just one of many ways you showed your selflessness & true beauty. I love you XO.

There is a marvelous book called “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” in which an elderly man meets 5 people who had an impact on his life. He meets up with his wife who died far too young. He is is angry and bitter that she was taken from his too soon. This was her response to him: “Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that’s all. You can’t see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it. Life has to end. Love doesn’t”. Keep your memories of Tammy alive in your hearts and know that we are thinking of you in this most difficult time.
