1938 - 2023
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Susan Despard, on September 22nd, 2023 at the age of 85, after a long battle with kidney disease.
Susan is predeceased by her parents Apolina and Thaddy Benoit, loving husband Donald Despard, her brothers Alphonse and Medard Benoit, her sister Julie Benoit and brother-in-law Earl Roy.
Sue is survived by her children Wendy (Aaron) Howey, Shawn Despard and Don (Nancy) Dunphy, as well as her sister Maria Roy, grandchildren Jeffery, Phillip (Thao), Scott (Su Ju) and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Sharing her life is a dear friend Alan Hopkins.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Parish Friday September 29th at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
