In loving memory of Mrs. Simone Porter who passed away at the Northview Nursing Home, Englehart on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at the age of 76. Pre-deceased by her husband Leonard Porter. She is survived by her 3 children Garry & Debbie Porter, George & Bonnie Porter, Jo-Anne & Paul Polyblank all from Kirkland Lake. She will also be sadly missed by her 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters Jean Gagnon of Chelmsford, Jackie & Gaeton Morin of Sudbury, Mary & Don Lisakowski of Michigan and 2 brothers Jim & Jeannine Dumais of Cornwall and Ivan Dumais of Sudbury. The family of the late Mrs. Simone Porter will receive friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart, Monday, November 16, from 10:00am - 11:00am. A Chapel Service will be held at McDonald Funeral Home on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 11:00 am. Rev. Jessica Cottrell officiating. In memory contributions to Northview Nursing Home Activity Fund (cheques payable to the River Road Tuck) will be greatly appreciated by the family.
