My sincere condolences to the Timmins family. Sheila was a lovely lady and much loved by the people in Kirkland Lake. Both she and Bill were teachers at Queen Elizabeth School in KL during the 1950’s and much loved and appreciated by all their students over the years. They will be missed but fond memories of them will always remain in our hearts.

Dear Susan I am very sorry to read of your mom’s death. I am sorry not have known her. I believe that I may have gone to school with your dad – Winchester High School 1944 -1849. I didn’t know him very well, but I knew that he went to teach in Kirkland Lake. The world is small, isn’t it? Please accept my sincere sympathy to you and your family. Earl
Earl Park, le 1 mars 2021

Dear Timmins family, My deepest sympathy on the death of you mother. I have very fond memories of your mom and dad. When I first arrived in KL in the late 60s to teach at KLCVI they took me under their wings and quietly made sure that I settled in comfortably. Sheila was a rare gem and we are all the richer for having had the opportunity to have known her. Mildred Breault

Our sincere condolences to the Timmins family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult times. Sheila was always so proud and loved her family very much. Barb and I spend a lot of time together with them as our families were growing up. Barb and I treasure the great times we spent with Sheila and Bill snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and curling. We will always remember the many parties we had together – topping it off with a few drinks ( mostly rum).
Barb and Jack, le 1 mars 2021
Susan, Please accept my sincere condolences. I remember how your mom would graciously play the piano for our group of KLCVI friends to help us practice for our Christmas Carolling night around the Federal area. We would go carolling, then your dad would usually have a fire on in the wood stove in the family room upon our return; your mom would supply us with hot chocolate and treats; and we girls would talk and laugh and have a good time your parents were great to put up with us on those occasions. Those evenings are some of my fond KLCVI memories…. My condolences to all your family members.
Darlene (Davreux) Horne, le 1 mars 2021

I will always remember Sheila as a very beautiful, lovely woman. I remember catching hell from my mom Florence at one of the last Timmin’s picnics way back, when I seem to take great pleasure in squirting a water pistol at everyone including your mom, Sheila. I can remember that very distinctly. My family always enjoyed visits from Bill and Sheila to my grandparents/parents home in Inkerman. Condolences to all, with much love and a big hug to all of you, my Timmins cuzzies!
