ROONEY, Ronald
Ronald Gordon Abraham Rooney of Charlton died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the age of 56. He was born August 3, 1958, in Englehart to Wilbert and Irene Rooney. He attended Armstrong #1 Public School in Earlton and Englehart High School, and worked as a trainer at the Fort Erie racetrack. Mr. Rooney always had a great love for horses and his watch dog Timex. He enjoyed getting out on the boat fishing and had many friends who were there for him when he needed help. He too loved helping others. He is survived by his mother Irene; sister Debra Milks (Chris); brothers Bryan Rooney and Wayne Rooney (Colleen); nephew Shane Milks (Lisa) and niece Crystal Roach (Dave). Pre-deceased by his father Wilbert and brother Micheal Rooney. The family of the late Mr. Ronald Rooney will receive friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart, Saturday, July 25, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. A `Celebration of Life` will be held at McDonald Funeral Home on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 am. His ashes will be buried at the Englehart Cemetery.
