Dear Grossinger Family: We were very sorry to learn of Romain’s passing. We will always remember his kindness to our Mother. He helped her get through her loneliness by teaching her to play cribbage. It is with deep sadness that we announce Romain’s peaceful passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Sunday, January 15, 2012. Romain was born on July 25, 1923 in Lachute, Québec to the late Ernest and late Solomée (née Thomas) Grossinger. Predeceased by his parents; his second wife Marie Grossinger and numerous brothers and sisters. Survived by his children Denis, Claude and Nicole; his grandchildren Diane, Micheal, Chantal, Marc, Ryan and Catherine; his great grandchildren Myles, Tyler, Brandon, Scarlet and numerous other relatives.
