LAFOND, Rollande – Passed away at the Kirkland and District Hospital on Thursday, December 15, 2011. Rollande was predeceased by her parents Bartholémie Lemens and Albertine (née Roberge), her brother Xavier, and her husband Georges. Rollande was a loving mother to her 7 children: Suzanne, Suzelle, Gilberte, Serge, Normand, Gerard and Danielle. She had 6 grandchildren (Diane, Danny, Michel, Shannon, Nadège and Sébastien) and 7 great-grandchildren (Chris, Myles, Amanda, Jessie, Jessica, Tyler and Brandon). She will forever be remembered by her brother Marcel. Rollande will also be sadly missed by Shiquilla, Dasha and the Belle. The family will welcome friends at Monette & French Funeral Home on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel at the Monette & French Funeral Home.
