We are very saddened to learn of Francis’ death. An original Round Lake Jet-setter, legend has it that he slalomed on a paddle. An educator and Dr. Seuss aficionado, he always knew how big the Grinch’s heart grew. Hopefully similar fond memories of many shared family occasions in Montreal, Toronto and K.L. will bring a smile and happy thoughts to everyone who knew him.

We were very sorry to hear the sad news regarding Frances. We grew up in the same neighborhood,attended KLCVI together, and played hockey against each other for many years. My condolences to the Murray Clan. Hold onto your memories for comfort.
When Lynn told me that Francis passed away, I felt a tug of sorrow on my heart. I have wonderful memories of Francis. One of those memories is when Francis was home from university and working at Hydro for the summer. I mustered up the courage and walked over to Hydro and asked Francis if he would come with me to the high school graduation dance. Francis being the kind & considerate fellow he always was, said yes. We had such a wonderful time & became friends.
There are people that come in & out of our lives for whatever reason and they stay in our memories forever. He was that person for me. I will always remember his beautiful blue eyes. Thanks for the precious memories Francis.
