BORGFORD, Robert ` Bob ` James
After a long illness, Robert James Borgford died at his home in Beauchamp Township (Earlton) on June 5, 2012. He was born in Englehart on November 19, 1934, to Clifford and Alberta Borgford. Educated in Beauchamp Township, he married Nora Carr in New Liskeard on November 6, 1965. Mr. Borgford was a farmer and heavy equipment operator. He had a great sense of humour and he loved hunting and farming. He was also a member of the United Church. Mr. Borgford is survived by his wife Nora in Earlton; sons Scott (Josie) of Elk Lake, Shawn (Kathy) of Brookville, Clifford of Earlton and Terry (Terri Lee) of Kenabeek; daughter Barbara (Mark) of New Liskeard; grandchildren Kyle, Cassie, Rowan, Dane, Ty, Cody, Jessie, Cole, Tanner and Bret, Nolan, Emma and Chase; brothers George of Earlton, Fred (Terri) of North Bay and Roy (Marion) from Earlton. He was predeceased by his parents and by his brother Cecil. The funeral was arranged by McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart with a graveside service to be performed at a later date. Cremation has taken place. In memory contributions to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
