It is with deep sadness that we announce her passing at Teck-Pioneer Residence on Sunday, October 5, 2008. Rita is predeceased by her parents James &Anna (née Purcell) and her brother Hermace and her sister Kay. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Patrick; beloved children John (spouse Jennifer), Kevin (spouse Jennifer); dear grandchildren Kimberly, Kiera, Ryan and Andrea. The Hackett Family will receive friends at the MONETTE & FRENCH FUNERAL HOME (450 Government Road West, Kirkland Lake, On., P2N 3L1) on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from the Holy Name Parish at 11:30 a.m. Rita will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery following the service.
