Poulin, Real - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces Real’s sudden passing at the (Blanche River Health) at the age of 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Georgette (nee Allaire) to whom he was married for 63 years. He is the beloved father of Mike (Chrissy Fox), Micheline Guertin (Paul), Jeannine Davis (Neil), the grandfather of Mathieu Guertin (Renee), Jennifer Hazeleger (Mark), Nicolas Guertin (Lindsay) as well as the great grandfather of Logan, Leah, Luke Hazeleger and Arielle, and Brooks Guertin. Real is the brother of Edgar (Narda), Richard (Lisa), Donald (Theresa) as well as the sister of Rollande MacAlpine (Clarence), sister-in-laws Irene Savoie (Real), Aline Seguin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and close friends Mireille and Gord Krupa, all of whom dad loved dearly. Real is predeceased by his parents, Jean-Baptiste Poulin and Bernadette Germain, parent in-laws Dorcina and Telesphore Allaire, granddaughter Kassandra Davis as well as numerous sister and brothers-in-law. Our father will be remembered for his passion for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, picking blueberries, would be seen in the arenas, and most often at the Kirkland Lake Golf Club with his best friend and soul mate Georgette. Our father also enjoyed playing euchre at the 50+ Club and Encore Club for which many knew that our father was a serious card player. Dad spent over 20 years in Florida over the winter months to spend time with his “Florida” friends as well as to polish up his golfing skills for his arrival to K.L. for the summer months. Our father was a member of the 50+ Club, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and attended Assomption Church. He will be missed for his wit, his financial advice as well as helping hands. He worked at Teck Hughes in his younger days and then at Adams Mine for 25 years until his retirement at the young age of 52 where he enjoyed his winter months in Florida doing what he loved most "golf and play cards” with his Florida family. The family will welcome friends at the (Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative, 111 Burnside Drive, P.O. Box 994, Kirkland Lake, Ont P2N 3L1) on Sunday, April 24th from 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at the Assomption Church on Monday, April 25th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Association (502-885 Meadowlands Drive Ottawa, Ontario, K2C 3N2, Canada) or Heart and Stroke Association (1200-2300 Yonge Street, Box 2414, Toronto, ON M4P 1E4). Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse de 63 ans Georgette (née Allaire) et ses enfants Michel (Chrissy Fox), Micheline Guertin (Paul), Jeannine Davis (Neil). Aussi, il laisse ses petits enfants Mathieu Guertin (Renee), Jennifer Hazeleger (Mark), Nicolas Guertin (Lindsay) et ses arrières petit enfants Login, Leah, Luke Hazeleger, Arielle et Brooks Guertin. Notre père laisse ses frères Edgar (Narda), Richard (Lisa), Donald (Therese) et sa seul sœur qu’il adorait beaucoup Rollande MacAlpine (Clarence), belle sœur Irene Savoie (Real) et Aline Seguin. Il est alle rejoindre son père Jean-Baptiste, sa mère Bernadette Germain, petit enfant Kassandra Davis, belle mère et bon père Dorcina et Telephore Allaire et de nombreux belle sœurs et frères. Il laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux neveux et nièces, meilleur amis Mirielle et Gordon Krupa. Notre père adorait le dehors, la chasse, la peche, ramasse des bluet, et le golf. Les hivers il allait en Floride pour pratiquer son jeux de golf pour se preparer pour sont retour à Kirkland Lake pour les étés. Il jouai au carte euchre avec ses amis a tous les jeudi soir et vendredi après-midi. Il était un membre des 50+ et Chevalier de Colomb. Il a travailler a Teck Hughes et Adams Mine jusqu’a sa retraite ou il partait tous les hivers en Floride pour se rencontrer avec sa famille en Floride où il allait faire se qu'il aimait le plus jouer au golf et aux cartes. La famille accueillera parents et amis au (Salon Timiskaming Coopérative, 111 Burnside, Boite 994, Kirkland Lake, Ontario P2N 3L1) le dimanche 24 avril 2022 de 19h à 21 heures. Les funérailles auront lieu le lundi 25 avril a l’Église Catholique Assomption.
