Dear Robin and Robin, families and friends: I just returned home to hear about your loss of Phyllis. In the time I got to know her she was a very fine, caring and wonderful lady. She worried so much about my mom in the bed next to her in the hospital. My prayers and condolences remain with you all at this difficult time. It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Marshall on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Kirkland & District Hospital. Phyllis came to Canada as a British war bride in 1944 and married her late husband Cyril William Marshall. She is survived by her 2 sons; Chris (Jackie) and Robin (Robin), her 4 grandchildren; Lauralee Marshall (Brad), Grant Marshall (Sinead), Kara Marshall (Ryan), Ryan Marshall (Katelyn), her brother David Welch, as well as 4 great grandchildren and 1 more expected. Phyllis is also remembered by her good friend Ann Denton who spent many hours visiting. Cremation has taken place at FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM (111 Burnside Dr. Kirkland Lake, ON).
