My condolences to Monsieur Vaillant family. He was also my grade 5 teacher at St-Charles. I have many great memories of Monsieur Vaillant, he was the teacher that had the most positive impact in my life. He was such an amazing person. I am truly heartbroken and I will forever remember him.

Condolences to the family. Mr. Vaillant was my teacher in grades 7 and 8 at St-Gerard school in Timmins in the late 70’s. He was an interesting and entertaining teacher for sure. He also took some of his personal time after classes to organize sports activities for students who were interested and even played the sports with us. Although this was many years ago he still addressed me by name when I saw him not that many months ago in Timmins. May he rest in peace.
