OLIVE TURCOTTE,
With sadness the family Mrs. Olive Turcotte announces her passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the age of 93 years. Olive was a faithful parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Parish and of the Catholic Women’s League. She was predeceased by her son Richard; grandson Jacques; parents William and Mary Cannon; sisters Estelle, Carmel, Gertrude and Josephine and brother Joseph. Olive is survived by her children Marlene, Dianne, Kathleen, Robert (Sandy) and Annette (Frank); 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and brothers John and George Cannon. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Parish with Father Wayne Mills officiating. Olive will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery in the spring. Donations in Olive’s memory may be made to the Holy Name of Jesus Parish Memorial Fund (39 Kirkland St. Kirkland Lake, ON.
