We were shocked and saddened to hear of Nick’s passing. He was seven years older than our twins. Nicholas helped my children cross the road when they were getting off the bus in Chaput Hughes for a length of time. He was a nice young man and we are sorry for your loss. To all those who loved Nick and will miss him greatly…. I had such a difficult time trying to compose a condolence for you all. Not for a lack of something to say, but I kept hitting the wall of accepting he is physically gone from this earth. Such a hard pill to swallow. Nick was always polite and pleasant with me, even when I blessed him with a detention or two at school…to the point where he would actually say thank you when I did so. A true testament to his character. He was a soft soul. I like to think the loved ones who have left us are just in another dimension somewhere waiting for us to join them when the time is right. Small consolation at this time, but comforting all the same. Please know both Brian and I are deeply saddened by your loss.
