So very sorry for your loss. Condolences to everyone.
I was very saddened to hear of your Mum's passing today.
Your Mum and Dad were a big part of my life at 60 Tower. I was their first babysitter when Brian was born and later, Robbie. Visited with Nellie and Fuzzy on a trip back home a few years back and saw Nellie four years ago.
Your Mum is at peace and my thoughts are with all of you.
Nellie was a lovely lady. Many years ago I remember calling her day and night to get us blood donors at the old hospital. She found willing donors every time and was so cheerful doing it. Many patients owe her a debt and didn't even know about her efforts. One Christmas day she persuaded almost all of the volunteer fire department members to come and donate blood for a needy patient. Certainly a memorable day for us all and we were so happy to see the firemen appear. Another wonderful Kirkland Lake person gone! So sorry for your loss.
Sadness comes again to see a OLD Friend leaving us. Nellie was a True Wonderful Lady, always dressed and hair done to the "nines". We curled, golfed and had many lunches together with laughter. She truly will be missed by all who knew and Loved her....so sorry for the Family's loss. RIP Nellie xo

May the love you shared carry you through this time of loss. So sorry to hear of Nellie’s passing. She was such a spitfire and loved life
I knew Nellie at the golf course to be a standard bearer for grace, elegance, consistency and common sense. It was she who kept Fuzzy in line. Together they were a model for enjoying life together and I cherish that memory and offer them thanks. My feelings are now with the family of Nellie and Fuzzy as we all share feelings of loss and good memories together.
Condolences and prayers at this time of sorrow for the Macdonald family on the passing of a fine lady. I always enjoyed our chats.

Nellie was a childhood and lifelong friend of my late mother, Bettyann Archer. On many of my occasional trips to Kirkland Lake over the years, I would see her briskly walking along Gov’t Rd., always with a smile. I have no doubt that memories of your mother and her exemplary life will help you find comfort at this time. My condolences to all the family.
So sorry for your loss. Nellie was a sorority sister and friend for over 50 years. She volunteered with many local charities. If I remember right, she served on the local police board. She was a gracious hostess and you always felt comfortable in her presence.

Dawn, Victoria and I were so sad to hear about “Aunt Nellies” passing. She and our Mom (Marion Jack) had been friends since public school and as a result we saw a lot of Aunt Nellie and Uncle Fuzzy growing up.
We spent fun times in the summers at the cottage on Kenogami too. They were an amazing couple. “Aunt Nellie” was a beautiful, kind wonderful woman. Our family sends our love and prayers to both of you and the entire family.
