I recently heard of Michael’s passing and I wish to offer my condolences to his family. I met Michael when our family moved to Kirkland Lake in 1975, and I became part of his “gang”. We had a lot of good times! I’ll never forget the camping trip that we all took to an island in Kenogami. I have pictures from that trip and I will look at them even more fondly now. Michael was a gentleman and just a really decent person. RIP Michael.

Wanda, Mary, Joe and family, My most sincere condolences on the loss of your dear Mike. He was a very endearing character to say the least. One would recognize him in a second in that picture above just by that grin and those mischievous eyes. I went to Queen Elizabeth with Mike and for a few years we hung out together quite a bit, riding our bikes to King Kirkland for firecrackers and getting into all sorts of mischief. We crossed paths a fair bit during high school and the years that followed and always had a good laugh when we did. Although I hadnt seen Mike in years whenever he crossed my mind a grin would soon follow as he had that effect on people. May similar memories of Mike help to lift your heavy hearts during this difficult time.

So very sad to have heard the news about Mike. He took me for my first drink at the Princess Hotel when I was 15 (still not sure how or why we were served?) Took me for my first ride on a motorcycle at 16….. He had it all: charm, talent, beautiful blue eyes, a great sense of humour, tons of friends and lots of women chasing after him! I haven’t seen him in years but I’ve thought about him often. I’ll never forget him. My sincerest condolences to his sister and Dad…..Joann: you are one amazing sister!!! xo

Deeply sorry for your loss. A loved one lost can grieve the heart and make us yearn for tomorrow, when God will keep the promise he made of “no more pain, no death, no sorrow “~Revelation 21:4.

I met Mike when he used to hang out at The Rosko’s house across the street on Taylor. We used to play hockey on the street and hang out at Joe’s place. I later hung out with him snowmobiling and at people’s cottages. He actually called me about 2 months ago via FB messenger. He told me he was not very good at using FB or his cell phone… RIP my friend xo I will never forget that smile.
