1946 - 2021
In loving memory of Jyrki Veli-Matti Paavola, who peacefully passed away at the Teck Pioneer Residence in Kirkland Lake on April 4th, 2020. Predeceased by parents Tauno and Kaarina (Hakko) Paavola, brother Peter Paavola, and sister Maya Schell. Remembered fondly by brothers John and Ray, nieces Jaana Pearson Paavola (Briana) and Megan Leslie (Brendan), and nephew Jonas Pearson Paavola. Matti was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. He was especially proud of his traditional Finnish sauna which he gladly shared with family and many friends. May he rest in peace.
