COLQUHOUN, Mary
Mary Kirkpatrick Colquhoun passed away on Monday, April 4th, 2016 at 10:15pm surrounded by her family, at the age of 79. She is lovingly remembered for always buying too much of all our favorite foods and not understanding why we were unable to eat 15 squash, her hoarding of fly swatters to shush her dog Toby-Tyler when necessary, her ability to watch hours of “Spin the Wheel†(Wheel of Fortune) and Jeopardy, her love of cheese, cabbage rolls, fried green tomatoes, and “chips†(also known as fries). She will especially be remembered for her witty, sarcastic sense of humor. She was always cracking the best jokes at the best times, keeping everyone laughing. Her love for her family was evident in her actions and words every day. She is remembered as an amazing mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Colquhoun in 2001. She is survived by her children David Colquhoun, Robert Colquhoun (Carole), and Sandra Meyer (William); her grandchildren Jessica Springer (Steven), Jamie Colquhoun (Joel Perron), Sarah Pennings (Trevor), Victoria Huisman (Johan), and Rachel Meyer (Thomas Kehoe); and her great-grandchildren Stacie, Alysha, and Hailey Pennings. She will be forever loved and forever missed. God be with you until we meet again.
