Mary Bogdanic passed away at New Orchard Lodge in Ottawa on March 21, 2019. Mary was a very unique woman who lived her life in her own way. She was born in Cobalt, Ontario to Nicholas Bogdanic and Rosie Bogdanic (nee Grecevich) who held her dear above all else. Her parents later moved to Kirkland Lake. Mary was an early role model for young women who were determined to be independent. She obtained a scholarship and attended Queens University in preparation for teaching and later the University of Toronto where she studied library science. She worked for the National Research Council of Canada for many years and was an original tenant at “The Watergate” building where she lived for over 40 years. Mary will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery.Offer Condolence for the family of Mary Bogdanic
