Marshall “Frank†Moore died at the age of 86 years on April 22, 2011, at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. A resident of Englehart, Ontario, Mr. Moore was born in Barrie, Ontario, on March 25, 1925 to Fred Moore and Mabel Charles. He moved away from home in Wasaga Beach at a young age and eventually made his way to the Tomstown and Englehart area. He married Marion Black and worked as a bricklayer, farmer and general handyman. Mr. Moore loved horses and cows, and loved the quiet outdoor life. Very bright, committed and hard working, he gave generously to the disadvantaged children in the Temiskaming area. He was always one to help his neighbours in a time of need. Mr. Moore is survived by: his son, Fred; one sister, Dorothy Lewis of Hamilton; six nieces and three nephews. He was predeceased by: his parents; his wife, Marion; and two sisters, Margaret Lee and Vera Waege. Funeral arrangements were by McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart. The funeral service was held at the McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart on April 29, 2011, at 2 p.m., and was conducted by Stephen Wuerch. Burial is at the Allenwood Cemetery in Elmvale, Ontario.
