So terribly sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Wuorinen. She was such a kind and generous soul. She and Pop took care of our oldest, Devan, when we lived in Kirkland Lake and a more loving caretaker could not be found. When Mike and Mitch were heading off on their fishing adventures she would pack plenty of goodies for the guys (cupcakes were one of his favorites). So fortunate to have been blessed to know this woman.

Mrs. Wuorinen was such a nice lady. I met her many years ago when Steven and Kristen were in my Kindergarten Class.

I am so sorry to hear about Margaret’s passing. My condolences to the family. Margaret and I were very close friends while growing up on Day Avenue. She was an important part of our family with being John, our youngest brother’s godmother and I her bridesmaid at her wedding. We exchanged cards at Christmas and special occasions through the years as I have lived out west since 1960 and visited her when I went east. We had many pleasant memories to look back on. Margaret cared for anyone she came in contact with. Now she is at peace and with her family. I hope to see her again one day… Love you always Peggy

We are very sad to hear of Margarets passing. She lived next-door to us for many years, and when we went up to Kirkland Lake, we stopped in to visit her. We always enjoyed seeing her. Margaret was a very warm and friendly person and it will not seem the same going up there and not having her there. Our condolences to Mitchell and Alison, Steven and Kristen.

A most beautiful and kind “Princess” of Day Avenue has passed away. As a little girl, I was always in awe in how beautiful she was. Marggie Dinnon was always smiling, always helpful, and always loving towards her family and others. My condolences to her family and especially to Stephen who was very close to his grandma. Certainly a loss to those who truly knew and loved her.

Mitch, Alison, Steven and Kristen I am so sorry to hear about Margaret. She lived beside my family on Brown Avenue since I was a teenager. From babysitting for her to visits across the fence and more recently to short visits when Elaine and I did our annual roadtrip to KL we had a long and warm relationship. Please accept my sincere condolences. Marilyn Booth

Aunt Marg was a special person in my life and in the life of my mom who spoke with Aunt Marg every day by phone until her illness. Mom shared some of their conversations with me and I know that Aunt Marg was a great comfort to her after my dad’s death. Unfortunately I lost direct contact with Auntie Marg as time passed. The last conversation I had with her was literally just before dad passed away, as I was speaking with her by phone from the hospital when it happened. I hope that your memories of Aunt Marg are mostly happy ones. I also want to express my condolences for the loss of your brother Mitchel shortly after. All the best, Alison.
